No external chemicals are needed to perform the water quality test.

Why test for Chlorine Dioxide?
For best results, run test immediately after collecting a fresh water sample. Chlorine Dioxide is a sanitizer & oxidizer used in paper manufacture, food processing, water treatment, and healthcare environments to sterilize equipment and surfaces. The USEPA limits contamination to 1ppm for drinking water. It is commonly used as a water additive to control microbes and can be used to control tastes and odours. It rapidly disappears from stored water.
