WaterWorks™ Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) (NCW-482029)

It is a simple dip and read test strip with a precise colour chart on the back of the packaging and the results are shown within 20 seconds. This patented test strip can be used to test water across industries. No other reagents or accessories are needed for this test. We use trace amounts of chemicals on our strips which makes them extremely safe and non-hazardous. They are considered as Articles under OSHA and do not require SDS sheets. This is our new recyclable packaging.

Notes: Total Dissolved Solids, defined by NSPI (National Spa and Pool Institute) as: “a measure of the total amount of dissolved matter in water, e.g. calcium, magnesium, carbonates, bicarbonates, metallic compounds, etc.”

This allows you to test your water for simple maintenance. When TDS levels in your pool or spa are high, cloudy water, corrosion, and scale can occur. High TDS levels can also reduce the efficiency of chlorine and affect pH balance.
